GENERAL SMALL BOWEL CAPSULE PREP INSTRUCTIONS
Small Bowel Capsule
The day before the appointment patient may have a normal breakfast and lunch. Starting at 2 PM, clear liquids only and nothing after midnight. If a patient must take morning meds, it needs to be before 6 AM with a small sip of water. Wear comfortable clothing including a shirt that the belt/vest can be worn over. No crop tops, bulky sweaters, no underwire bras, no upper body piercings (facial/head piercings are ok). Patient must be in the office at 8 AM and return at 4 PM,(3:30 PM on Fridays).
Important, if you are taking Phentermine or any GLP-1-agonists medications (ie. Ozempic, Trulicity, Mounjaro, Wagovy) you must stop taking the medication one week prior to your scheduled Small Bowel PillCam Endoscopy. If you have any questions, please contact our office.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Please contact the office a minimum of 2 business days prior to the procedure to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 2 business days in advance will result in a $200. 00 fee.
